Yeah, I think this might be a still image from video. You can see fluid movement from the ice and water around his shoulder, and there is way too much color in his face to be dead. I would think holding a knife straight up, through a quarter of an inch of ice, would be rather difficult to hold while letting the ice refreeze. I call alive on this one. I would like to know the background on the image though. Was it a video on extreme survival?
