Not always. Your seat belt keeps you in your seat, if you have a very sudden stop, you will be dead. Seat belt or no seat belt. Organs don't take sudden stops well.

Two rules of defensive driving: 1) Always try to accelerate out of danger. 2) Never wear seat belts so you can be "thrown clear" The women wisely chose not put on seat belts but their POS car could not go fast enough. |
