what i like as much or even more than the videos are the comments, most of which are by fliers and therefore full of jargon and insider quotes and vivid descriptions, and eternal quotes like "I'd rather be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than be in the air wishing you were on the ground", LOL, or "One time i was in a vertical vortex updraft downdraft and called the TO and reported an IFE and they vectored me to a ABC XYZ,i tell ya it was a 4.6 on the HFS scale" |

Well said BN. I too like to read the comments of enthusiasts & experts of a field of work, study or play. Pilots, divers, knife/firearms ppl(like myself!) and scientific categories are some of my favorites. Lately ive been into waterycave deepdive mishaps and accidents, spelunking accidents.. also construction/worksite explosions. The crazy stuff that happens with those can get wild. (missing persons cases, abductions, strange disappearances are also very interesting.. and the comments from investigators and SnR personnel) |
