It's the photographer with the flat cap, and the forest-y backdrop, that made me think Ireland. But come to think of it, this does resemble Appalachia....

Reflection on the door tells me that there are least 5 other people looking, and the car is a high end with a wood and leather steering wheel, four door possible SUV

Anyway, it's an old-as-fuck case. Not sure if it's been here before or not. Maybe. Maybe not, whatever. It was the 2005 assassination of the former governor of Lviv (Ukraine). The vehicle is a Lexus SUV. The assailants were driving a red Audi, from which they fired at least one fully automatic machine pistol. Victim was 50 years old at the time of his murder and was deeply connected to a lot of dirty business and politics. I don't believe they ever conclusively determined if the hit was political, mob business, or purely personal reasons. |
