Former Siccario's Girlfriend Executed in Taxi Cab

A woman in her early 30s was shot dead in the passenger seat of a taxi cab this morning. A motorcycle with two men pulled up alongside the cab, fired three shots at her through the windshield/windows, and sped off.

The driver was unharmed, but the woman was shot three times, once in the right arm and twice in the upper chest. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman, known locally as Lulu Soto (a nickname) was working as a hair and nail stylist, but had a somewhat darker past. A decade earlier, she was the close girlfriend of a well-known siccario who was kidnapped and executed by rivals more than nine years ago. By all accounts, she has been 'out of the life' since he was killed, but it is unknown whether her violent and very public shuffling of the mortal coil was a product of her previous life or if it reflected retribution for more recent transgressions.

Why would a hairstylist have most of her hair cut off unevenly? I bet her cuticles were ragged, too. I'm glad there isn't a picture of them, because I'm squeamish.
