A former MP officer was shot dead early on Tuesday.
According to the information by the military police, the 41 year-old man was taking his 8 year-old son to school, when two men in a pick-up truck started chasing him.

The suspects fired several times towards his car.

He tried to escape, but he didn't get far, soon after fleeing his car, he collapsed and died from his wounds.

His son escaped the incident unharmed.

The suspects fled and have not yet been located.

The police also said, that the former police officer lost his uniform after being arrested with suspicion of several killings in the region and was on probation.
