Former Mayor of Chalco, Mexico Found Shot to Death
Fomer mayor of Chalco is found dead by a dirt road. JMCH, former mayor of Chalco, was found dead on the 53.5 kilometer of the Mexico – Cuatla road. Authorities arrived at a point known as árboles de Navida confirmed the body belonged to 55 year old JMCH. The body presented a gun shot wound to the head. According to reports the former mayor was kidnapped by armed civilians from his ranch in Tlalmanalco Wednesday night. Personell from the Attorney General’s Office arrived at the place to carry out the lifting of the body and initiate the corresponding investigation.   |

They didn't even need to shoot him; just make him walk briskly up a couple of flights of stairs and let all the chorizo grease in his arteries do the job.

You'd be fine. When you see those stories about Americans, Canadians, and Northern/Western Europeans getting killed or maimed or whatever in the poorer parts of the world, it almost always involves some egregiously naive decision on their part. Your basic awareness of potential danger is something many people lack.
