Former Inmate Shot to Death **Left Flip Flop Warning** [Brazil, 14 October 2011]
The 27 Y.O. man was paroled two months ago. At about 19:30 this Friday (14), he was chatting with neighbors on the street where he lived, when a man approached by feet and opened fire. The victim was hit by six bullets and died at the scene. No one else was injured. The boy's mother declined to reveal the motive for the murder of the son, she also declined to say why his son had been arrested. According to the garrison commander of the 4th Military Police Battalion (BPM) that is investigating the event, the likely motive for the crime is related to some enmity made by the victim in jail. According to experts of the Institute of Criminology (IC), who examined the crime scene, the weapon used by the gunman, (who smartly fled the scene) was a 380 caliber pistol. The wereabouts of the victim's left Flip Flop (model uncertain but most likely Hawaiana) are unknown: the right Flip Flop was found healthy, intact and in relatively good conditions.        |

maybe the motive for the murder was to steal the victim's flip flops. looks like the perpetrator was only semi- successful. good post  |

I think his death had to do with his overall bad taste, flip-flops and ugly shorts and all!
