Re: Foreigner Mangled in Thai Road Crash
Looting must be pretty common with ambulance crews. Judy Tyler, the actress who played Indian Princess "Winterspringsummerfall" on the Howdy-Doody show, was killed in a wreck when her body was torn in half in a car accident just north of Rock Springs, Wyoming in 1957. All of her and her dying husband's cash and jewelry disappeared after the accident. Same thing with James Dean. The German race driver who was with him said that Dean had at least $500 in his wallet, to pay for entry fees, gas, dinner and hotels for their racing trip (Dean invited him to go and said it would all be on him.), and it disappeared before they got to the hospital. |

Re: Foreigner Mangled in Thai Road Crash
I'd like to go to Thailand, but the rate of accidents has me pretty concerned about a trip there. (Just the rate of accidents in Asia in general seems incredibly high, and they really don't seem to pay the slightest attention to common sense or caution!)

Foreign guy in Thailand - either a missionary, or there to get some of that sweet ladyboy ass. There is no other reason.

Re: Foreigner Mangled in Thai Road Crash
I've been in Thailand and Burma several times, and the roads with mixed traffic (buses and trucks mixed in with scooters, flimsy vans, and water buffalo) are the most dangerous I have ever seen. That guy could have been me a few years ago ... I've been reading the excellent Ukrainian war section managed by Vedderman, and this guy could have been any Russian blown up by a drone dropped grenades. |

The common Third Option is for sex with children ... the parents cannot resist the wad of money.
