Five Thieves Shot After Holding Residents Hostage And Robbing Them
Around midnight on Saturday 29th November 5 criminals were killed after exchanging gunfire with a team from the Special Operations Battalion south of Macapa, Brazil. They'd invaded the residence of a 42yo businessman and his 73yo mother. The gang left the victim's home at around 5:30am carrying various objects. The victim reported that the bandits sought a policeman who they thought lived there and wanted more weapons and ammunition but were told no police lived in the house and that there was no weapons or ammunition. The thieves spent the night torturing him in an attempt to get information on where were the weapons and ammunition was. After the thieves withdrew from the residence, the businessman broke free from his restraints and called for help. Police teams received information that 5 heavily armed men were in the neighbourhood with some objects in a bag. The team spotted the bandits who did not obey police commands, opened fire and tried to escape so were shot on sight. The injured were taken to the hospital emergency room but all died. The dead were identified and police team believes that more people were involved in the crime. With the criminals were found objects stolen from the entrepreneurs residence plus a shotgun, three rifles and handguns. |
