The Cannibal of White Breu

RIO - The Civil Police of Breu Branco, in Pará, arrested last Saturday Rafael da Silva Ribeiro, 27, known today in the city as "Canibal de Breu Branco." Police found two women quartered and buried in Rafael's yard, who admitted the crime. One of them was his wife, Joana Cristina da Silva Soares, 48 years old. In the confessed killer's refrigerator, there was a heart, pieces of meat, plus a bottle with two liters of blood. All material found was human. Despite being classified as a "cannibal" by residents, he denies having consumed the parts of the victims' bodies. In a statement, the criminal stated that he kept them as a "souvenir", because "a voice" asked him to do so.

Delegate Rommel Souza, responsible for the case, says that Rafael does not show signs of mental disorders and that he acts coolly:

"He's a very cold and intelligent person. He looked at me and said, "Deputy, you thought the blood in the bottle was wine, right? It sounds like hell. " He is being questioned by several different people and confessed to the crimes, but said that if we let him sleep, he could convince us otherwise.

The officers of the Civil Police of Breu Branco arrived to Rafael after a complaint of the brother of the second victim, Maria Zélia Ribeiro dos Santos, of 46 years. He went to the police station after his sister spent the night away from home. During the investigation of the disappearance, the agents arrived at a bar where Maria Zélia had been last seen with Rafael, before the two of them got a motorcycle taxi. Through the mototaxista, the police arrived at the address of the criminal.

Maria Zélia was the first to be found buried and quartered in Rafael's yard, as well as Joana Cristina, located in a second search. In his house, a shovel, a digger and a hoe with remains of sand were also found. A blood-soaked sheet was in the yard, and the mattress in the room also had blood marks.

Karl Denke (12 February 1860 – 22 December 1924) was a Prussian serial killer and cannibal.

On December 20, 1924, Denke was arrested after attacking a man at his house with an axe. Police searched Denke's home and found human flesh stored in huge jars of curing salt. A ledger contained the details of at least 42 people whom Denke had murdered and cannibalized between 1914 and 1918. It is thought he even sold the flesh of his victims at the Breslau (now Wrocław, Poland) market as pork.
Two days after his arrest, Denke hanged himself in his cell.

Edward Shutov and Oxana Domanskaya

It was December of 2007 when Edward Shutov and his common law wife Oxana Domanskaya invited their neighbor, Alexander Novikov, over for an evening of drinking and partying. Things seemed to have been going well until a dispute between Shutov and Novikov broke out. Shutov came after him with a hammer, Domanskaya with a knife, minutes later Novikov would be dead.

The couple stood dumbfounded, arguing between themselves as to what they should do with Novikov’s body. Shutov suggested they take the body and dump it elsewhere, but Domanskaya had other plans.
She began to hack up Novikov’s body bit by bit, wrapping the usable portions in cling wrap. The portioned out pieces of their former neighbor made their way into their refrigerator for safekeeping and what remained of Novikov was dumped into a nearby storm drain.

It was the morning of December 18th when a group of children had been walking to school. As they made their way down Repina Street they saw what appeared to be part of a human leg sticking up out of the storm drain. Horrified by their findings, they ran to a nearby shop and the clerk contacted police immediately.
Police knocked on the door of the Shutov/Domanskaya residence hopping to get some information about the body found near their home believed to have been the remains of their former neighbor. Traces of blood were seen around the home. The couple was immediately taken in for questioning.
As the investigation continued throughout the home, a pan of oil was found on the stove and bits of human remains had been fried up inside. Near the kitchen trash, a bag of entrails and flesh had been found.

As investigation stated, 36-year-old Edward Shutov and his 34-year-old mistress Oxana Domanskaya invited 48-year-old neighbor Alexander Novikov to their house. After drinking alcohol the males had a fight. the couple attacked novikov and killed him.

Shutov wanted to get shutov the body but Domanskya proposed to use his meat as a food. The couple cut good pieces of meat off and stored it in the refrigerator. The body was taken away and thrown to the sewer hatch

Militiamen found later found traces of blood in the house of the couple. A bag was standing with human entrails in the kitchen and a hot frying pan was standing with fried human meat on the gas-stove.

Domanskaya [NSFW] denied that she had been cooking and eating human meat, but her husband confessed. Shutov said that after butchering their former neighbor, his wife decided to taste some of the flesh. Domanskaya allegedly offered Shutov to taste some as well, but he declined.
Shockingly enough, police say it wasn’t the first case of cannibalism they had encountered in the area. In 2004, two young women murdered another young man and feasted on his liver.

A “CANNIBAL family” has confessed to butchering and*eating at least 30 people in Russia over two decades, cops said.
Dmitry Baksheev, 35, and his wife Natalia, 42, allegedly served a stuffed and decorated human head as dinner and pickled human remains in jars.

The couple were arrested after the dismembered body of a young woman was found in a military academy in Krasnodar where they worked.
Dmitry admitted the grim killing and boasted about multiple other murders after a phone was found with pictures of a man posing for selfies with dead bodies.

He told interrogators he began his macabre reign of terror in 1999.

Police have so far discovered*eight frozen body parts and flayed skin as they attempt to verify the gruesome claims.
The pair stand accused of drugging their victims with tranquiliser Corvalol before attacking them and storing their remains in their fridge, freezer and cellar.
Sickening images show how the couple allegedly*preserved some human “meat” in jars.

Around 19 pieces of human skin were also discovered which had allegedly been “removed from dead people”.
Dmitry was taken into custody after the chopped up remains of a woman were discovered in bucket and bag in a military academy on September 12.
Another bag was filled with the dead woman’s possessions.
Dmitry is understood to have lived at the academy with his wife, who works as a nurse there.

Natalia Baksheeva, who is seven years older than her husband, came to live in Krasnodar from Omutinsk town in Kirov region.
The couple has admitted to carrying out dozens of murders since 1999.
One sickening image dated 29 December 1999 appears to show a*head being served as Christmas dinner surrounded by oranges.
Cops uncovered “video lessons for cannibals” at their homes,*according to Livekuban.ru.
The couple are being held in*Krasnodar as cops investigate.
