According to the witnesses, the Palio was speeding, when its driver lost control on a curve. He avoided to crash on a wall, but doing that he invaded the opposite line and crashed head-on with the truck. Of the four occupants of the Fiat Palio, only a 19 Y.O. woman survived, the others died on the spot.
