Re: Female Teenager Found Drowned and Floating
My question: how the hell does THAT happen? She had a heart attack and fell into the water? Probably. NOT. Ok then she was murdered -- you can't say she went foe a swim as she has her shoes on...then again maybe she was plain stupid and tried that?

Re: Female Teenager Found Drowned and Floating
It happens with surprising regularity. A lot of times drugs and/or alcohol are involved. Often, it's just that people don't realize how dangerous swimming can be and take the danger too lightly. (e.g. Underestimating the distance of a swim and running out of energy prior to reaching shore, etc.) I have almost drown 3 times during my life and I am a fairly capable swimmer. The conditions that presented themselves took me by surprise and it was almost the end of me on 3 different occasions. And that's not counting 1 time while SCUBA diving. |

Re: Female Teenager Found Drowned and Floating
That happened to me once. I swam from the boat to shore. It was when I was making the return trip I had problems. (More boats, more wake.) My boyfriend was reading the paper and I couldn't get his attention. I finally grabbed the ladder on another boat until I could catch my breath. I won't forget the waves hitting me in the face. I learned a huge lesson that day. I thought I was such a great swimmer. I figured if I could swim across a lake, I could swim just as far in the bay. I didn't take into account the waves and the wake from a gazillion boats in a very small area.

I was just thinking the exact same thing. That sick fucker would probably have taken her to a taxidermist and got her shellacked and mounted like a prize marlin. Of course he would have artfully posed her prior to the shellacking.

Re: Female Teenager Found Drowned and Floating
I looked a little closer at the photos (shut up...I mean in a nice way) and I noticed that she looks well taken care of. She had on decent clothes, a matching bra, socks, her hair was clipped, shoes are on, pants are buttoned/zipped, no cuts/abrasions on the shins, arms, hands, or neck, nails look cared for, face looks like there was some make up, she looks feel fed, no outward signs of struggle. This is an odd one, but I just bet it was murder. Maybe she couldn't swim...most of us take that skill for granted, but in a lot of countries swimming is that common. Anyone have any opinions?
