The process of diffusion, specifically Osmosis, would cause the water to diffuse from an area of high concentration to low concentration, causing the body to retain the water and bloat. The water would then cause the tissues to become soft and easy to tear. In many cases where corpses are found in water, it is difficult to give a time of death, water damages many of the cells immediately.

she obviously hasn't got any friends or family...she lay in that bath slowly rotting away ...and nobody even missed her very sad ...  i bet the stench was horrific |

Sitting more than a few days. The maggots are dark, which mean they are towards the end of that life cycle. That is extremely rank. For crying out loud.
