She has been dead a little longer than a few days. She's at stage three - putrefaction and decay. The fact the neighbour reported smell confirms this in itself. The skin is becoming transparent with blueish/greenish tinge. The calliphoridae larvae look a mix of late third stage (body) and prepupae (bathtub roamers); thus, at least 10-12 days old. Awesome pictures. |
