Yes this was a suicide. You are not taking into consideration the heat in this country. You can see by the fat floating in the water that it was very warm and humid environments. The "splits" are caused by gases that escape. You obviously have not dealt with body's in water that are sitting around in 100-110 degree weather.

The way the miscellaneous objects are placed ON the victim, not AROUND, shows that someone left clues to say , "hey, i killed her". If the killer left traces of DNA, which I'm sure he did, because psychopaths can be really stupid, then we can put the trace against our database, and boom we've got our killer. If the killer was wearing gloves, then we can locate samples of the gloves by searching around the body for marks or prints that could have been caused by the glove. The prints can be used to find a pattern of the gloves. You get the pattern (or just traces of latex or rubber), match the glove, find anyone that has bought those gloves, track them down, and boom, you've got your killer. Thank me later.
