definitely one of the more gross things on DR, the maggots were astounding. guess she'd been cooking in the hot water for quite a while by the way the meat fell off of the bone. and there were several stages of maggots there, it had been more than a few days. still managed to eat my dinner.

She must have been bathing in very hot water, like many people who cut their wrists do. It eases the pain and lets the blood run faster, so your death will come quicker and less painful. That might explain the dissolving flesh and the terrible state her body is in. I don't think she's only been dead for several days though, it looks like she's been there for about two or three weeks..

nope,didnt bother me either lol,the body suffers whats known as slippage,the flesh gets eaten/dissolved and turns to fluid,hence the leg on the floor,the rest of the body will eventually dissolve too but it takes longer in water,the maggots need to breathe so cant live in submerged flesh,the smell will be sickly sweet just like on the guy my friends and i found in the forest,he'd been there about a week and his face had slipped off but his body was intact,wish id have taken some pics,it was fucking cool  |
