Female Suicide Bomber's Remains, Damaturu Bus Station, 2015
At about 1 p.m. on February 15, 2015, a teenage girl set off a bomb at a busy bus station in Damaturu, Yobe State, Nigeria, in the city's first suicide bombing. Reports that day listed ten deaths, while later accounts gave a toll of at least sixteen. Boko Haram was blamed for the attack, although no group claimed responsibility. The bomber was never identified.
