Yes, if she had the wrong grain ammo in the gun. Even so, a semiautomatic is usually very near the victim. The muscles in the hand contract.

I thought about spray as well. But close-range head shot? Maybe the wrong ammo? At any rate, for her position and the blood stream, this was a prostrate shot to the right temple. Any "splatter" is in the pillow would be under her head. Which is pretty considerate.

Your on the right track with the ammo. She most likely used a small caliber handgun like a .22. Believe it or not a .22 will kill a human when it is a selfinflected shot to the head. I have seen the x-rays and autopsies to prove it. |

No judgment here, just hurt's my heart to think that she felt that was her only option.Like Eaton said ,it's more about the people left behind that are here to feel her loss in there life at which I know 1st hand from losing someone to suicide!! So YES I do know.
