Re: Female Student Vomits Blood
Yeah, one of the last patients I saw in my ER rotation was a lady that came in for bloody stools and weakness 3 days after getting her warfarin tweaked. She asked for a commode during the interview, we brought it, and she crapped something that looked exactly like the blood in that picture and bottomed the fuck out in seconds. She was stabilized and tests showed an INR of 6.5. Had to have a full colectomy about a week later. Horrible stuff.

Re: Female Student Vomits Blood
Nothing weird about it if she had cirrhosis of the liver and the esophageal varices rupture in her lower esophagus, then she could also bleed out in every orifices of her body. It is a very scary thing to see and so hard to keep that person alive, cirrhosis of the liver can also result from hepatitis B or C and not just alcoholism . cancer of the liver can also have the same effect of bleeding out from all your orifices . Drugs will not do this to you, sadly it looks like help was to late for her to have a chance at life. May she rest in peace & condolences to her family & friends.
