Female Prisoner Executed for Intentional Homicide in China
A female prisoner convicted of intentional homicide was taken from a county-level detention center in China and executed by shooting at a snow-covered execution ground. Uniformed police escorted her from the facility before she was made to kneel with an execution placard displayed behind her. The placard recorded the offense and bore the red mark used to denote that the sentence had been carried out.
