Female Palestinian Journalist Shot and Killed by IDF

A 31 year old woman was shot and killed by IDF forces on the West Bank this week.

Because truth is the first casualty in any war and because this conflict is so extensive and long-term, the propaganda is hard to sift through.

Palestine claims that she was a journalist on her way to work at a radio station when she was shot and killed by IDF at a checkpoint.

IDF has issued a statement that she was a known terrorist who had recently been released from prison after trying to stab a checkpoint guard several months ago. They claim that she rushed them once again in this incident, brandishing a knife, so they fired in self defense.

In either case, she was shot one time through the chest, the bullet passing in one side of her body and out the other. The wound was not initially fatal and witnesses claim that she laid there moaning and begging for help for almost 20 minutes before IDF allowed paramedics to approach. By which time she was unable to be saved.

Hard to assess exactly what happened from the photos and video, but here's what I have. I see blood on her shirt from entry and exit wounds but very little blood around the body. The video and image that show the ground after she was removed show a small amount of blood; I am guessing most of it was inside her chest cavity. There's a large damp stain leading out from her body in the pulled back shots, but it doesn't look like blood. Maybe she urinated all over when she was lying there dying for 20 minutes? Not sure what else it would be, but it is definitely not a blood trail.

I don't see any knife in her hand or nearby to her in any of the images or vids either. Which, of course, doesn't mean she didn't have one.

That photo of the knife is so shifty, LOL. I found it highly suspect that it didn't feature in a single image or video where the body was actually seen.
