Female Lawyer Suicide in Prison Cell - Questioned by Family
Back on saturday night 11/05/13 the young lawyer, who was seriously drunk, went to the house of her ex and made a scene. He called the police and had her arrested. She was then a little later found dead in the cell. The authorities say that she hanged herself with a shirt as ligature. Just before the funeral the family raised questions on the cause of death, saying that she didn't hang herself but was killed. They asked a neighbour to make photographs of the bruises they found on the body, and they said that the ligaturemark was far to thin for a shirt to have been used - looked to them more like strangling with a rope. The family has so far had no success - authorities still saying that it was suicide. The husband admitted that he had beaten her during the fight, which should explain the bruises. No wonder that the family talk about corrupt authorities and call for justice - whatever that is in this case - who knows? Not the typical "hanged girls" or "women in coffin" post, so she gets her own thread |

Yikes, any strangulation / hanging experts here? Doesn't look like a shirt did that, but I am not a crime scene RKI. Maybe she was a mouthy drunk and the cops garroted her for a little latino fun. |

Re: Female Lawyer Suicide in Prison Cell - Questioned by Family
Im no expert but seeing the inside of the eyes would tell a lot ya know? Almost seems she was dead prior to hanging the way the ligature mark appears as if that was the case. If they cracked open those eye lids and checked to see if they show major redness you know she died from strangulation if there is none she died of another cause and was hung to cover up..... I'm not an expert but I know a little about the body and how it works as a nurse so just an educated thought.
