Do you speak spanish? No? Ok just wondering because most of the people in border towns and most of the immigrants from Mexico speak not only Spanish but English too, making them smarter than you. Looks like in the time between her escape/kidnapping and her murder they convinced her to change her hair color and crop it shorter. Apparently she thought she was being freed by her cartel. But it looks like they had planned her death for thier own reasons. Anyway they shut her up for good.
