The news blogger who covered this was writing in a far more colloquial form of Spanish than I am comfortable translating. Did my best, but details are somewhat sketchy.

Female doctor was picked up in a (ostensibly) case of mistaken identity and tortured, then decapitated by Cartel siccarios. Her body was left in the trunk of her car with her head sitting on the hood. A note was also left, though according to the news report, the woman who was killed was not the woman spoken of in the narcomensaje.

Her body had no injuries aside from the decapitation and the coroner has indicated that she was most likely still alive and conscious at the time of her beheading.
