Female Constable Commits Suicide Amidst Love Triangle
Very difficult to parse news reports for detail in Hindi, but after reading about three dozen of them, I think I have the gist here. Note that some of these photos were sent to me from a member of another site and others I found myself. This young, married, female police constable had a big thing for Tik-tik lip syncing and older men. In this particular case, her boss at the police station. Apparently she was supposed to be 'running away' with him, but he pulled out at the last minute to stay with his wife. The girl's response was to hang herself from a ceiling fan. Now initially, no details were divulged about the affair. When the young woman was found hanging, as is very often the case in this part of the world, many of her neighbors and family members cried 'murder' and maintained that her suicide was staged. Of course, the prevailing theory behind this was that her feet were touching the floor.  The autopsy report and investigation came back with a confirmation of suicide by hanging with no signs of violence on the body or in the room. The hanging photos here corroborate that at an amateur glance, displaying many signs common to hanging. Feet on the floor is not at all infrequent, as most DR members probably know. Her eyes are also open and fists partially clenched, both common signs in hanging suicides. The angle and resolution make it difficult to see if her tongue is protruding, but it is clear that she urinated herself in the noose, and the staining on her pant legs is compatible with a vertical hanging in terms of directionality. In any event, a suicide note was also found, but she only expressed 'dissatisfaction with life' as her rationale. She had also deleted all of her phone and email messages. Her husband came forward a few days later saying that the note was a mask to protect her secret lover and that she had deleted the texts and emails for the same purpose. She allegedly did this in order to protect him, as charges could be brought against him for sleeping with an underling, especially if she killed herself for fear of exposure when he broke it off. An investigation into the affair is ongoing. |

Nice find. Maybe she hanged herself in favour of a possible honour killing? I'd assume that the disgrace brought to her family would be more so that she had an affair rather than her boss sleeping with someone of a lower rank.

Very possible. It's her husband pushing the charges against her boss, claiming that he instigated the breakup and 'forced' her to commit suicide. But she took great pains to hide all of that information, so it may just be the angry husband pushing a grudge.

Ah, I don't blame him, he must be feeling like absolute shit at the moment. Not only did he lose his wife to an affair but in death too.

Wow... 2nd picture is very artistic... almost inspired... she looks so different there... that photo is truly worthy of a painting... so sad((( I hope it was relatively quick and she didn't suffer much... but who knows... sigh...
