Why does it seem that in some of these poor, overpopulated countries that life is just so cheap? I’ve seen on TV where a whole family, including a baby, will be riding on one of those little motorcycles. These kids have sandals, shorts on with no helmets. It seems like there are no traffic laws, People just drive where ever they want to drive, nearly hitting people on bicycles and motorcycles, whatever. It just seems like nobody cares much about themselves or anyone else. When there is an accident, no one really comes to the rescue right away, if ever. I just don’t get it. I like to think that as humans, we are all the same in our hearts. Maybe not?

its cultural..look at india..those guys dont give a fuck..eat with their hands, lie back on motorbikes and take a nap while speeding 80kmh down the highway! Same in south east asia..i literally saw a woman washing electrical wires with a wet metal broom..0 fucks given. They drive in sandals for gods sake...how chill can you be. In the UK if you sneeze while driving you get arrested (not literally)..its a mix of lax views of the law and a different cultural mindset.

You are making the mistake of judging other cultures by your standards. Simply put, "it just ain't the same". Those same people could well be unbelieving of things you do.
