Fatal Drowning in a Private Pool Caught on CCTV, Forensic Case Report
A 26 year old man died after going under in a privately owned swimming pool while no witnesses were present. A surveillance camera captured the incident, enabling forensic examiners to establish the timing of every phase. The autopsy found drowning to be the only factor in his death, noting foam tinged with blood around his mouth and nostrils, additional foam inside the airways, lungs saturated with water, and about 700 cc of water in his stomach. · |

Re: Fatal Drowning in a Private Pool Caught on CCTV, Forensic Case Report
Bullshit on "his private pool." The rest is legit, and thanks for posting it. A non-swimmer in deep water will typically drown in a 1-2 minute window, just like this guy. Amazing how fleeting life is to someone who never learns that basic skill. Overcoming immersion panic is part of learning to swim. Swimmers sometimes forget that, especially those who learn to swim at a young age. |

That "foam cone" syndrome happens to overdoses as well, ala Chris Farley, to name one.
