Re: Fatal Attack By Pitbull
I have never seen a dog attack that fierce!I dont know if all pitbulls should be condemned but I do think they should be registered..But so should some other breeds along with some of their breeders... Now all small dogs should be destroyed just because they are annoying little fuckers..JK... |

Re: Fatal Attack By Pitbull
Fuck you to all the ignorant people on DR who want any breed of dog extinct...BLAME THE OWNER/HANDLER of the dog. NOT the animal itself. I own one and personally have had experience with hundreds of hand reared pits. They are very trainable. It's all up to the owner/handler. My neighbor runs a pit farm and she turns out the sweetest, most gentle pits you could ever imagine. But she is VERY picky about who gets to own them. Applications, in-depth interviews along with background checks play an important part as to where her pups end up. 20 yrs to this day and she's never had a negative incident. They naturally want to please. Whether you want them to cuddle with kittens or maul the face off of another dog OR a 4 yr old boy, It's all based on intention, with the appropriate training. They are NOT a breed for beginning dog owners, but they are certainly NOT a breed that truly deserves the reputation that they have. Blame your fellow man for the atrocities that this dog has been responsible for. As for the cheesy chart denoting human fatalities due to canines, I highly doubt it's legitimacy. Dmander--I have a really big, mean penis but my pitbull is a big pussy. My cockatiel scares her. Ask my fiancee, on all three issues...

Re: Fatal Attack By Pitbull
Two things are boosting statistics over here: 1- the breed's capacity to inflict maximum damage per attack 2- the owners Pitbulls's jaws are configured in such a way no other dog can inflict as much damage. The jaws lock upon biting their victim, making it almost impossible to have it let go on your leg. Since they have a badass reputation, dickless, brainless humans tend to pick that breed to look cool. Since rednecks can't figure out how to use their own dick, how could one expect them to have the howtos on raising their dogs properly? But toothless hillbillies never go for a chihuahua, count on me... |

Re: Fatal Attack By Pitbull
A pit bulls jaws cannot lock, that's a myth. They have tough jaws, but that's a myth. The dog who did this needs to be killed, because sadly there's something majorly wrong with him. Even if he was abused, it's not at all normal for a dog to eat her face, even if it did attack... He needs to be checked for Sudden Rage Syndrome, rare in Pits, but it does happen. A dog who attacked in fear or defense wouldn't actually eat her, and there are the odd one or two dogs that are born vicious. Pits aren't normally vicious, believe me I've had literally over 200 come through my home. The dog who did this had a mental illness or something. Well said Sir Specula. I guess you could say my family runs a pit farm too. We train all of our dogs in protection and search and rescue, they are as gentle as can be. We're very picky also about who adopts our pits, and we have home visits, in which we thoroughly check the future pit owner's home, seeing their dogs, if they're friendly etc. We also have a pit bull quiz, and all owners must answer to the best of their ability, or we'll reject their application. For example, one of our questions asks "Where will your pit bull live?" If they answer anything similar to "Outside safely chained up" or "Locked in a kennel safely" they'll not get one of our dogs. If all pitty owners would do this, there would be no aggressive pit bulls. But that would mean getting rid of all the idiots in the world, which will sadly never happen. |
