Farmer Killed by Machete
According to news reports this farmer was killed after he refused to hand over the deed to the property he just sold. Apparently he took money, and decided he was going to keep the land as well. So they they hacked him up with a machete.

Re: Farmer Killed by Machete
but frankly, it could be the other way around don't you think? the buyer paid for it but wanted to get the money back and the signed deed of sale for the land. the owner surely wont sign it if they did not show any money and if the deed of sale isnt present, they cant transfer the land to their name. that is why the cover up of the corpse. they're probably telling all around that they bought and paid the land and the seller just packed up and went away.

Re: Farmer Killed by Machete
There's no sense to rook someone of money then stay in the same place. if its a car or something you can take away with you when you escaped, maybe. but its land. you can't just con people into paying for it, but not giving them the title and expecting nothing will happen to you.
