Family Farm Massacre In The UK
It was a high-profile case in the UK, after the murders unfolded, but received minimal media attention elsewhere. On August 7 1985, 24-year-old Jeremy Bamber phoned the police to inform them of a distressed call he had received from his father Nevill. Jeremy said that Nevill called to tell him that Shelia (Jeremy's sister, and Nevill's daughter) went "berserk with a gun". According to Jeremy, the call was cut off mid-sentence. Shelia had a long history of mental illness, so she was an easy suspect. A welfare check found five bodies (all with gunshot wounds) at the family farm, including both Shelia and Nevill. Predictably, it was initially suspected that Shelia was the shooter. A rifle was placed on her body, pointing towards her neck. But here's the thing: there was no firearm-charge residue anywhere on her nightdress, which was soaked in her own blood. Long story short, the prosecution discovered inconsistencies in Bamber's telling of events. On the 8th of September, he was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, only to be released on bail 5 days later. He fled to Saint Tropes for a getaway with a friend but when he returned on the 29th of September, he was arrested and charged with the murders. He still holds onto his innocence, and there is an ongoing movement (for the past three decades) to clear his name. There are more juicy details that I omitted because I have little time now, but I might provide an update later. Bamber is a scumbag and so too are the mongs who support him. They've been dragging his deceased sister's name through the mud for decades. I thought I had seen all of the murder scene photos, but this one is new to me. Thanks for sharing.  |

The blood you can see at the palm area proves it not a suicide, because the hand would have been wrapped around the gun and not exposed for blood to transfer. |
