Family of 6 Dead from Carbon Moxide Poisoning
The decomposing bodies of a man, his wife + four children were discovered in their apartment on 3rd July 2017 in Rumuosi Community in Rivers State. They died from suffocation caused by generator fumes. Neighbours last saw the family on the night of 30th June + they became curious when the foul odour emanating from the family's apartment became unbearable. A report was lodged at Choba Police Station, some policemen were dispatched to force open the door of the apartment, only to find the family of six dead. Policemen came + forced the apartment’s door open, where the decomposing bodies were found. The family were lying on the floor of the sitting room, with the television on. Neighbours also said that on the night they were last seen, there was power outage + the family were using the electricity generator. ![]() |

Because we all know, whole families in the Western world do not die from accidents like this, no, not a one. Just poverty stricken families in 3rd world countries. |

Re: Family of 6 Dead from Carbon Moxide Poisoning
The description doesn't say the generator was placed indoors. I doubt it was indoors because the noise is unbearable. It's like the sound of a lawn tractor. Plus the fumes would be readily noticeable. I think it was placed outside but maybe not far enough away. |
