Re: Failure Of Parachute

His chute was partially opened. His malfunction was line tangle at the container (pack). Maybe around his neck. With a partially inflated chute, it slowed his descent, but not enough to prevent death. He either waited too long to deploy his reserve (which is the bag on his front) or he was unable to. Either way it looks like two things led to this, poor emergency action on his part and bad gear/packing. They make device that will deploy you reserve even if unconscience if your rate of fall is too fast for low altitude (500-1500 feet)

Re: Failure Of Parachute

It kinda looks like he tried to deploy the reserve chute
A lot of times the reserve will bounce out on impact. which looks like it in this case.

I am not sure what we are looking at here? Did he decide to jump out of a tree? The human body liquefies at 60mph - if you're skydiving you're going a cool 110 - there should be nothing left.

Re: Failure Of Parachute

In the Philadelphia area we had a beloved weather forecaster Jim O'Brien who died during a sky diving accident. The joke was "What was the last thing that went through Jim O'Brien's head"?

The punchline was "His feet".

Re: Failure Of Parachute

Well sometimes people with parachute fails SURVIVE so this is definitely believable.

HAHA go to this link. This lucky mother fucker fell 6,000 feet, parachute failure, onto the side of a mountain but I think the snow saved him.
Also there's a video on the link.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worl...-survives.html

This lady landed face fucking first and survived, broke about every bone in her face and knocked out her teeth though. That last pic is the DENT she made XD XD XD She even found out she was pregnant in the hospital & the baby made it too :D yaay !

Knocked her teeth out huh? Well at least she has potential now in the adult porn industry.

Read the post just before yours and you'll see "With a partially inflated chute, it slowed his descent, but not enough to prevent death."
