This individual was stabbed in the neck and then thrown from a window. The perpetrator described the injuries as being self-inflicted by the decedent who cut herself and then jumped out a window. The window ledge and outside wall were smeared with blood, which was easily visible from below. During autopsy, approximation of the margins revealed a stab wound just below the left ear from a knife blade that exited through her neck and stuck in her right shoulder. There was also an anemic abrasion to her back and an anemic laceration to the scalp, indicating the decedent had lost much of her blood volume and did not have a beating heart with blood pressure enough to produce hemorrhage from the injuries sustained when striking the ground. click pic to view larger image  ·  ·  ·  · |
