does that mean he survived? or is it common practice to take x-ray pictures of corpses with something stuck into them?

yeah, crazy to think though if he survived long enough to be taken to hospital etc. wonder how much one could be aware of in that situation, of what's happening to them i mean

EKG electrodes and they're still attached to a machine. Something of that nature is survivable as long as the blade doesn't make contact with important goodies.
