Re: Extraordinary Suicide with a Samurai Sword
Those kind of collector swords aren’t even sharp. They’re not real samurai swords, they’re just blunt metal blades fashioned to look like a samurai sword on someone’s wall. A real samurai sword would cost in the hundreds of thousands. A real samurai sword would be sharp like a scalpel and allow for someone to gut themselves via Hari Kari incredibly fast. As this was a shitty fake samurai sword with a tip as blunt as a butter knife, and no razor edge to it, it needed something heavy to weigh it down to make a fatal impact. Not a fun way to go, would have been slow and tedious. Real samurai sword would be sharp enough to slice someone’s hand off with one swift move.

Re: Extraordinary Suicide with a Samurai Sword
It's kind of typical that a speedhead would build some weird contraption like this to kill himself. I used to be addicted to amphetamine, after which I switched to opiates, To be honest, being addicted to amphetamines is worse. Nothing fucks up your head like them. It's no miracle that he did this. It's hell.

Re: Extraordinary Suicide with a Samurai Sword
From that medical report, it is sounds to me like the guy remained conscious after he was pierced by the sword, until his chest cavity filled up with enough blood to compress his lungs so they would stop expanding to breath. Sounds like a miserable, painful death, and there was nothing clever about that torture device he created. If he was truly clever, he would have researched suicide methods that are not traumatic.
