I live close to the Barrett company, and have shot 50's. A fifty would have to hit bone or bank to do damage like this. But I don't think it was too big. It looks like a failed SB to me.

Yeah, because a .50 wouldn't have literally blown him in half. SB is a good guess.

Hey my first post Have you ever seen what an .50 cal explosive, incendiary round can do? I have (on a 325Lb. pig) at 200 yards. Over 100 pieces of bacon spread out over 50 feet! "Not that much stopping power" The Barret can and has stopped cars, trucks and LAR's with one well placed shot!
