Re: Exhumation of a Body
I don't know. but that's how i'd want to be buried is nude. What's the point in clothing.. just going to decay, rather my clothing go to someone who can use it in the living.. Once were dead were going to our eternal sleep and our bodies are going to end up like her's decomposing, so what a waste in clothing..

Re: Exhumation of a Body
She was buried in a coffin, not a casket. A coffin has six sides and is wider at the shoulders. A casket is an elongated container with four corners, like we see today. Coffins originated in Europe and are used by the Royal family. Diana was placed in a coffin as well as Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh. Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. |

Re: Exhumation of a Body
Well, I want to be buried in a rubber diving suit, covered in cheese, wearing boxing gloves, and inflated with helium!

Re: Exhumation of a Body
In Australia, an autopsy is never performed unless the cause of death is not known/in dispute. Same for embalming. Simply not done, unless someone is being put on display for viewing. Also almost all funerals are closed casket, it's considered disrespectful and gauche to have people gawking at the dead like that.
