Authorities of Isla Mujeres and the wider community are baffled by the double murder committed last Wednesday night inside a hotel in the heart of the town. Analy Valente Bautista, a native of Acapulco, 23 years old and Iracema Castellanos Dominguez (Erika) of Tabasco, 26, were found murdered in the hotel room number nine from St. George, located in downtown Isla Mujeres, on Avenida Juarez, the bodies were gagged and bound hand and foot.
