Ex-Police Officer Kills Wife and Son then Turns Gun on Self
Brazil 10 June 2019 A former military police officer, his wife and 21-year-old son were found dead with gunshot wounds on Monday in their home in Sertãozinho, São Paulo. L.D.R.A., 41, shot his wife, R.A.A, 39, and his son B.A.A and then pulled the gun on himself. According to police, a friend of 'L' received a text message from him earlier that morning that he had killed his family and asked him to notify the police. The man decided to go to 'L's house first. When he arrived, he saw that the family's cars were in the garage, but no one answered his calls. The ex-MP also did not answer and that's when he decided to call the police. Police found the bodies of the mother and the boy in bedrooms of the house, while the policeman was lying in the living room. Officers seized a 32-caliber revolver and a 44-caliber carbine, possibly used in crime. According to family members, after leaving the MP, 'L' set up a metallurgical company and also worked as an engineer at a company in the city. He and his wife had been married for over 20 years and there was no history of disagreements. i think the financial struggles was only a part of the motive as why the woman and especially the son as he had a whole life of financial opportunities ahead of him.
