actually its the opposite. its a shotgun that they modified to look like a pistol. third world countries like us, it is easier to buy shotgun shells (no question asked) than pistol or rifle ammos. so they design local firearms to fire what can easily be had.
Shotguns have a stock, this gun does not. If a shotgun is modified to be shorter, it looks nothing like the one in the photograph.
