An evangelical pastor,, 42, was involved in a serious accident on Tuesday (28) on a stretch of BR-232, near the city Caruaru-PE. The woman who was in the passenger seat died at the scene.

According to a businessman, who owns a farm near the crash site, their children were taking care of the horses when they heard a noise.

Inside the car were the pastor, complaining of severe pain, and the girl, who was already unconscious.

A unit of the Mobile Emergency Service (SAMU) was triggered and helped the pastor, who was referred to the Regional Hospital of the Wasteland in Caruaru.

Information released by the Federal Highway Police (PRF) stated that the vehicle was bound for the city of calves when the driver lost control of the vehicle, went off the road and flipped several times, coming to clash against a power pole.
