Re: “Escty” NY Instagram Murder
give me a break. people are far worse on this site. it's nothing to do with feminazi bullshit or some huge social commentary. this was ONE lad with psychological and social problems who murdered a young lady he was infatuated with. the responses are like those here, anonymous attention-seeking trying to act cool nonsense people would never say face to face.

Re: “Escty” NY Instagram Murder
to be fair, she was in his car driving back from a concert together. nobody deserves to be murdered, but actions have consequences. millennials have been raised to believe the world orbits them and they think their platter is no longer silver, but platinum. the anonymity of social media has taught them to treat people online differently from how they would in person, as if there weren't real people behind the fake comments. it's another form of bullying. she couldn't have expected her death, but she surely should have known that her behaviour would have repercussions for both her and others, as everybody's does. the veil of internet can't hide that

Same here (though I'm classed as a millennial) - I was born in 1983, yet had no idea what an incel was until this thread was started. I have no idea what a 'clout chaser' is, I'll have to look that one up! Edit: It's defined as 'a person that only hangs with certain people or starts beef with people to gain popularity'.

Re: “Escty” NY Instagram Murder
I only learned about it a couple years ago. My “best” friend gave me a “stab you in the back, while patting you on the shoulder” Complement... He said “my friend and I were talking about this whole ‘incel thing’ and how it’s bullshit. This group of people say that women only go out/sleep with the cream of the crop “chads”. So I said ‘look at my buddy (Justanotheridiot), he’s a fat old man, barely has two nickels to rub together and is hung like a mouse, yet his two ex-wife’s were a runway model, and a prima-ballerina who also did print modeling... and he still pulls in 9s and 10s because he’s a genuinely nice and intelligent guy!” I sat there for about 15 seconds trying to decide if I should buy him a beer or kick him in the nuts. I finally said “what’s an incel?” |

Re: “Escty” NY Instagram Murder
So there has been some updates in the case. In Sept. 2020, Brandon withdrew his guilty plea saying that his lawyer coerced him into taking it. The judge allowed the plea to be changed, and appointed a new lawyer. Brandon originally claimed that he took the guilty plea because he didn't want Bianca's family to see the evidence of the crime (probably the video of the murder), as if he was trying to protect them or some shit... *eyeroll* ------------ Bianca's family has also been busy this year. It's a nice idea, but a total waste of time in my opinion. Those companies already have report features, so I don't know what they realistically hope to gain. Plus, it wasn't social media's fault the family was exposed to the images, Brandon sent the images directly to the family via text. |

Re: “Escty” NY Instagram Murder
Bianca was a very beautiful girl and you can see she had a lot of pain in her eyes. It is so tragic that this could have been avoided if only she knew how valuable she was and had someone in her life to help boost her self worth and self esteem. She might of then realised that none of these assholes were worth her time at all and she would have not died a tragic death looking for validation from entitled lunatic misogynistic weirdos online. |
