Yes, Pink. It is all about a myth. Che sells like hot potatoes in skateboarding shops, head(pot)shops, etc. Just the same as a Nike, CocaCola logo, and so on. Oh - and by the way everytime you see the all too famous representation of Vikings wearing horned-helmets - they never wore horns on their helmets... As for Che Guevara; he's just a myth created mainly by Hollywood in the 60's and of course Castro milked like crazy after he came back from his visit to New York!!! As we say in Argentina, "Crea fama y acuestate a dormir." (not literal but cultural translation) "Create a myth of yourself, then lay-back and enjoy the everlasting fame." |
