Fucking Brazilian horror story.

A farmer, his wife, their 3 children, and young nephew (ranging in age from 4 to 15) had obtained permission from the president of a 'land association' to move onto a plot of land in order to farm it. He had made the same deal a few months ago with a small group of sharecroppers, but had decided that the men were poor tenants. Instead of working the land as agreed, they was drinking all of the time and sleeping all day, letting the land go to waste.

Unfortunately, it seems they found plenty of energy when their 'free' land was in dispute. The farmer and his family had been on the land for about ten days when the displaced squatters arrived back on the scene. they ambushed the family in the middle of the night, catching them in their beds and tying them up. They then marched them almost 2 miles in the dead of night to the banks of a river on the property.

Once they had them there, they started the full massacre. Using sickles, machetes, and other farming implements, they butchered the entire family one at a time and left them to rot by the side of the river. Looks like they opened up the poor teenage girl like a goddam tin of baked beans.

The bodies were all discovered when neighbors couldn't find the family the next day, but the murderous squatters disappeared and have not been found. At this point, it is believed that they hired two brothers as assassins to do most of the bloody work. It is to clear whether the brothers were just killers for hire or if they were part of the squatter group. One arrest has been made. A local criminal known as "The Head" who allegedly provided the killing crew with their murder weapons. Details are a bit sketchy. "The Head' is also pictured below, after his arrest.

One of the most atrocious crimes I have seen, even for Brasil.
