This case involves a suicidal tight-contact intraoral .44-caliber rifle wound with extensive fractures and lacerations to the head. Note the gaping injury at the top of the head with the empty cranial vault. The brain was ejected almost entirely intact due to expanding muzzle gases. click pic to view larger image

I should learn to read closer....that Is a huge round though! I wonder if that is common for the brain to eject fully like that? That would be interesting to see actually happen. Or recreate what it might look like as it happens...
