Totally agree.Elephants are wonderful.They're one of the few creatures that like man, have a sense of self &,recognize themselves in a mirror.(Apes and dolphins are the other.)

Elephants will NEVER forget if you're cruel to them.There are documented cases of elephants waiting ten,twenty years to get the opportunity to visit revenge on a cruel handler.Perhaps this was the case here?

looks like the elephant finally had enough of the owner, i think he must have dragged him around a bit before hand and the pictures are near then end, in the last picture to the left it looks like maybe intestines, maybe his clothes are further down the road,, the elephant was not going to stop till he made sure,,,

Yeah I'm looking at the harness on the elephant think this is a handler that finally pushed it too far. Looks like a work elephant that's been heavily abused getting even.
