I was scouring some of my elderly hard drives today looking for an old photo of myself posing at a neighbourhood fellating station* (blowjob bench), when I came across this darling of a photo.

After becoming bored and highly konfused at a show, I became acutely aware that I was heading an exploratory squad of similarly konfused wayfarers into Vancouver's subterranea. This was back when not everyone even knew how to operate their phone flashlights. I did, and so it fell on to me to lead the expedition team. Through a multitude of deepening corridors, down ogre steps so massive we had to lower ourselves down each on our bellies, and kicked away much hideous spider-wood to access even more of the deepness. Zigzagging, maybe, quarter blocks horizontally in mystery directions each time before finding a way down even lower--like an old side scroller video game. Probably, we were about 4 or 5 stories beneath street level when we encountered this excellent Rat. With its stupid two front teeth still sunk firmly into that fat power line. None of us were bold enough to touch it, but the sound of us bouncing our tidbits and pocket debris off of it was no different than when we missed, and hit concrete around it. You could see bone through its eye holes and other holes in its skin, and it still even had a few hairs.

*The funniest thing about this particular fellating station isn't the kneepads, or even the communal water bottle and napkins strewn about, but rather it's that it overlooks a junglejim. The bench is literally within the gravel enclosure of a playground. Probably, at least several thousand kids have enjoyed Freezies while seated at that very same bench.
