Elderly Man Dies Stuck on His Motorcycle After Accident
A motorcyclist died on Friday morning after being involved in a serious accident between a D20 pickup truck and his motorcycle on RN 233, in the urban area of Caraúbas, in the west of Rio Grande do Norte. According to the Military Police, the accident occurred in the vicinity of Ufersa, towards the Olho D'água Park Hotel / Caraúbas. The victim was a man identified as ABO, 80, known as "AdeB", who resides in the Sebastião Maltêz neighborhood in Caraúbas. He was leaving the Baixa Fria site and entered the highway without looking and the driver of a D20 pickup truck, identified as CILdaC, did not allow time to stop and collided with the motorcycle, dragging him more than 50 metres. With the impact, the rear of the motorcycle entered the front of the truck and neither the motorcycle nor AdeB even fell on to the road. The Military Police deployed the technical team of the Technical-Scientific Institute of Expertise (ITEP) to remove the body to headquarters in Mossoró.      |
