That was pretty stupid, dissing them publicly like that.
He felt confidant because he was 'protected' by being a very close personal friend of a high-ranking member of a rival Cartel.

Pretty much everyone responsible for killing this guy has been annihilated in the past few days.

And I mean that literally. I think the four main vatos credited with clipping this guy were executed in a truck with somewhere in the neighborhood of 3000 bullets. Most of them were almost liquified.

I read somewhere that he was abandoned by his mother, legally blind, and coerced into posing in videos while people on the sidelines told him to talk shit about the other cartel, so he was basically a tool. Not sure if any of that is true but it seems probable.
